Professional Position

• I'm working as Assistant Professor (since 2004) at the Department of Physics of the Tripura University (A Central University).

• I'm also a member of the Thin Film Research group, Department of Physics, Tripura University, Tripura, india.

Research Interests:

• Preparation and Characterization Thin Films (Molecular level):

  • Langmuir-Blodgett Films, Layer-by-Layer Self Assembled Films, Spin Coated Films,

  • Spectroscopic (UV-Vis Absorption, Fluorescence, FTIR etc.) Characterizations, Morphological & Electrical Characterizations of such films.

  • Organo-clay hybrid films, Biomolecules, Organic and polymeric Materials in thin films and at air-water interface.

  • applications of these thin films in optoelectronic devices.

• Theoretical modeling and calculations using Gaussian Ink 03.
